Heritage partnered with Bobcat, a global equipment brand known for compact machines and attachments used across construction, landscaping, and grounds maintenance, inside UNC Charlotte\u2019s PORTAL Building. PORTAL is an on-campus innovation hub that connects industry partners, research groups, and student teams. Working with Shultz + Associates Architects of Fargo, ND, we translated artwork into a professional installation that fits a bright academic workplace. The environment welcomes students, faculty, partners, and visitors while preserving the building\u2019s light and flow.<\/p>\n

The brief called for brand moments that read from distance, balanced with privacy where needed and writable surfaces where work happens. In collaboration with Shultz + Associates Architects and campus stakeholders, the plan combined a statement wall, glass gradients that soften views without closing rooms, dependable dry-erase areas for team sessions, and a refined logo feature on stand-offs. Shultz guided alignment with architecture and circulation patterns so the graphics feel native to the space, and Heritage unified the parts through careful proofing and installation.<\/p>\n
