Giving back is a Heritage Printing, Signs & Displays philosophy. Since our inception in 1977, we have been actively involved with non-profits, military relief and community oriented organizations. Thanks to the efforts of Eric Gass; bindery dept. Waldorf, MD., we proudly add the Paper 4 Teachers program.
Surplus paper may be in different colors, textures and sizes, primarily 8.5 x 11 with sizes also ranging from 12 x 18, 11 x 17. Limits are set according to the amount of surplus paper available.
HISTORY
Heritage Printing, Signs & Displays have been distributing surplus paper to the local community since its inception in 1977. The initiative to be community oriented was a priority instilled in the Gass family business by their founders, Allen & Margaret Gass.
The acquisition of Beacon Printing in 2015 accumulated an enormous amount of excess paper and the distribution process grew to become Paper 4 Teachers, with the inaugural event held in 2016. The second annual paper drive leaped forward, serving 147 teachers with over 4500 pounds of paper.
Thank You So Much,
We used the paper to create houses out of crafts sticks and the grey paper allowed us to make houses out of bigger shapes. Thank you for helping us learn that we can create shapes from objects and that smaller shapes can create a larger picture.
