Inside Sales Representative – Charlotte, NC

About the Job: The purpose of the Inside Sales Representative is to be the first line of contact with all incoming telephone calls, online inquiries, and all other communications. This position is critical to the growth of Heritage as it provides professional first contact in the collection of initial pertinent information before being promoted to our highly skilled Products Support Team or Project Managers. In addition, this position will be of great resource in the research of perspective clients, follow-up, and proactive marketing.

  • Supports our Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
  • Homebase will be in the Charlotte NC facility or Waldorf MD facility.
  • The schedule is 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday, and as required.
  • Report directly to the Director of Development.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have and be responsible for:

  • 5+ years of Signs & Displays experience with a background in commercial interior graphics and event signage.
  • Work in collaboration with the Director of Development, Products Support Team, Project Managers, Workflow Manager, and Marketing Manager.
  • Support all sales initiatives and goals.
  • Utilize all tools, programs, processes, and systems (Microsoft 365 / Outlook / Teams / Trello / PrintSmith / Plan Prophet CRM).
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the company’s current and new products.
  • Answer all incoming telephone calls and communications.
  • Identify each call, online inquiries, and or communication with the initial pertinent information regarding who, where, and what, documenting well in Trello, and then assigning the prospect to the appropriate team member.
  • Questioning skills that qualify and educate with quick discernment to determine when we are not the right resource for the prospect.
  • Proactively follow up with customers to get their feedback, guarantee their satisfaction, and develop ideas for pitch modification to advertise products more successfully.
  • Collaborate with professionals from other departments to identify improvements to product offerings, sales education, marketing strategies, and other business-related topics.
  • Participate in lead generation strategies, cold calling, performing perspective client research, identifying business prospects, and creating a list of potential customers.
  • Writing “Thank You” letters as directed by the Product Support Team and Project Managers.
  • Uphold standards of self-motivation, time management, and productivity, and maintain a workspace that is clean, organized, and professional.

  • Answering all inquiries with a smile and positive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $63,250.00 per year
