Richmond City Sheriff’s Office Wall Wraps in Richmond, VA | Project Spotlight
Heritage Signs & Displays created wall wraps, window graphics, SEG fabric graphics, and wall displays for the Richmond City Sheriff’s Office at the Richmond City Justice Center in Richmond, VA. The project connected public service history with interior spaces where Sheriff’s Office staff train, meet, remember, and carry out daily responsibilities.
The Richmond City Sheriff’s Office works to maintain a secure jail and safe court system while supporting inmate transport, civil process, public safety, and reentry efforts. Under Sheriff Antionette V. Irving, the office serves one of the largest Sheriff’s Offices in the Commonwealth, with more than 450 sworn and civilian staff members.
That mission gave the interior graphics a role beyond decoration. The Richmond City Justice Center needed visual features that could honor history, support privacy, recognize leadership, and create dedicated moments of remembrance in spaces used by the people who serve the City of Richmond every day.
The conference room work addressed both privacy and the room environment. Heritage produced and installed perforated window graphics for the main row of second-floor conference room windows, helping reduce visibility into a high-traffic meeting area. Above the windows, acoustic SEG fabric graphics added a functional visual element that gave the conference area a stronger presence.
The training hall included the End of Watch wall wrap, one of the most meaningful parts of the project. Heritage produced and installed the wall wrap to help honor service and sacrifice in a space used by Sheriff’s Office personnel. The result created a dedicated place of remembrance within the daily training environment.
The timeline wall carried the City of Richmond history theme into the building through a large-format wall wrap. Heritage produced and installed the initial timeline wall and later completed text and photo updates so the display could remain accurate and complete. This history-focused feature helped connect the present-day work of the Sheriff’s Office with the larger civic story of Richmond.
The Sheriff’s wall added another leadership-focused feature to the interior environment. Heritage produced and installed a wall wrap tied to the office’s leadership narrative, creating a visual area that recognized the people and service connected to the role of Sheriff in the City of Richmond.
The badge wall display added a dimensional element to the project. Heritage produced and installed a black wall display for badge artwork, creating a focused visual feature that complemented the surrounding wall wraps and historical graphics.

The completed work brought several parts of the Richmond City Justice Center into one connected interior environment. Perforated window graphics supported privacy. Acoustic SEG fabric graphics added function and visual presence above the conference room windows. Wall wraps gave history, remembrance, and leadership a stronger place in the building. The badge wall display added a dimensional focal point tied to the office’s identity.
For Heritage, the Richmond City Sheriff’s Office project reflects how workplace graphics can support public service environments with care, respect, and purpose. Each piece served a specific function, but together the full scope helped create a space that honors history, supports daily work, and reinforces the mission carried out at the Richmond City Justice Center.
