Hi, it’s Joe here again.  Today let’s talk about fabric printing and more specifically portable media backdrops AKA: Step & Repeat Banner Stands.  Every sporting event now uses a custom step banner stand as a backdrop for their interviews.  Most of the time it’s the professional team logo alongside the stadium sponsor, like the Carolina Panthers and Bank of America Stadium.  The Panthers logo will repeat every other print in between the Bank of America logo.  It impressively displays the support of the prime sponsor for the professional franchise.

I know many people that purchase products and services mainly because a company sponsors their favorite professional team.  NASCAR may have been the first to really expand upon the sponsoring of their drivers/athletes and professional sports teams.  The way they promoted their corporate sponsors in the early 80’s was impressive from a marketing standpoint.  Today, you rarely ever see a scheduled driver interview without a repeat banner.

Not just sports, but corporate media events, news broadcasts and a plethora of media events use a custom step and repeat banner as a backdrop for their videos and pictures.  Last holiday season, we were in a local clothing retailer and they had Santa setup for pictures with kids in front of a step and repeat banner stand.  They really do have many uses.
