When we look at a company, the logo and branding are the first things we notice. UPS for example, has worked their branding into everything from their uniforms to their fleet of delivery vehicles. We instantly know who they are and what they do when we see their brown, boxy truck with yellow lettering. One way they and others have accomplished that brand recognition is through effective use of vehicle fleet graphics.
Fleet graphics are placed on the outside of a company vehicle promoting their brand. They usually come in the form of vinyl decals and vehicle wraps and can also incorporate vinyl lettering graphics.
A good fleet graphic creates a sense of professionalism your customers will be able to pick up on and communicate that you are professional and care about quality.
According a study conducted by 3M, one truck traveling around a city can net 16 million impressions in a year. Businesses who outfitted their commercial fleets with graphics also saw 15 times more name recognition than other advertising methods. Imagine the potential impact your company can have in Washington, DC or Charlotte, NC utilizing this very effective marketing strategy.
There are a huge variety of designs and types of vinyl decals available to outfit your vehicles with that are durable and removable, and today’s printing technology allows you to outfit anything from a small carrier van to a semi-truck with a custom design very affordably. Some factors you’ll want to consider include:
The Type of Graphic
As stated above, there are three types of commercial fleet graphics: partial wraps with strategically placed vinyl graphics, full wraps and lettering. Each one can be adjusted to your specific needs and creatively utilized to make an eye-catching graphic, so choose the one that’s right for you and your budget.
Make sure your design is as good as it can be before you commit to one.
You’ll also want to place your design for maximum impact, so choose where you think it will be visible to the most people. Consider tailoring your vehicle decal to a certain audience if you’re in a specific area of the country or city. Parking your vehicles in high-visibility areas when not in use also ensures they’ll be working for you even when they aren’t being driven around town.
Finally, consider how durable you want the graphic to be. If you plan on changing it from time to time, you can opt for a more temporary adhesive that will keep your graphic stuck on, but remove easier when it’s time to switch it out. If you want your vinyl graphics on your fleet vehicle for as long as possible, choose a more durable material and more permanent adhesive.
We want to get to know you and your needs, so the first step in our process is scheduling a call to discuss your commercial fleet wrap needs, your budget and anything we may be able to help you with. Once we’ve got the full scope of the project, we’ll create a timeline and provide you with a free estimate of cost.

1. Do you provide custom vehicle wraps?
We do provide high quality branded vehicle wraps for companies of all sizes from one company car to a large fleet.
2. Will vinyl graphics damage the vehicles in my fleet?
Far from it. In fact, they can help protect your paint. A vehicle wrap, for example, can protect the paint on your fleet vehicles from exposure to UV rays, dirt, and scratches from light debris. As long as the paint on your vehicles is fully cured and free from damage, there should be no problems with adhering and later removing fleet graphics to your company vehicles.
3. How long will my vehicle decal last?
The right material can last several years. If your fleet is well cared for, a vinyl decal or wrap can last anywhere from two to three years. Even if exposed to the elements, they don’t usually start to show signs of aging for several years.
